I have been a fan of The Walking Dead since the very beginning and when the character of Negan was introduced, I was immediately drawn to his charismatic yet ruthless personality. But aside from just wanting to dress up as one of my favorite characters, there are several reasons why Walking Dead Negan cosplay is necessary.
Firstly, it allows fans like myself to fully immerse ourselves into the world of The Walking Dead. When I put on the leather jacket and hold Lucille (Negan’s bat), I feel like I am actually part of the show. It’s a great way to escape reality for a little while and have some fun.
Secondly, Negan is such an iconic character that his cosplay has become almost a form of tribute. By dressing up as him, we are paying homage to the amazing portrayal by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and also showing our love for the show and its characters.
