As soon as I finished reading ‘Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass Book 4)’, I immediately flipped back to page one and started reading it all over again. That’s how much I loved this book! Sarah J. Maas has such a talent for creating complex characters that you can’t help but become emotionally invested in.
I was especially drawn to Manon Blackbeak and her coven of witch covens. They may not be considered “good” by society’s standards, but their loyalty to each other is admirable. And let’s not forget about the epic battle scenes between the witches and our beloved Aelin. It was like watching two powerful forces collide and it was absolutely exhilarating.
And let’s not forget about the steamy romance between Aedion and Lysandra. Talk about a slow burn that was worth the wait! I couldn’t get enough of their banter and chemistry. Sarah J. Maas knows how to write a swoon-worthy couple.
